BOWLINE: A Low-Poly VR Archery Adventure Project Description BOWLINE is an immersive Virtual Reality archery experience developed for the Meta Quest 3 using Unity 6. Set in a clean, stylized low-poly environment, the project focuses on delivering realistic bow physics, haptic feedback, and responsive target mechanics. Players can test their accuracy, rack up high scores, and engage with interactive targets. Step-by-Step Instructions for the MediaNight Stand 1. Hardware Setup: Connect the Meta Quest headset to the presentation laptop via Link Cable (or Air Link). Ensure the Meta Horizon PC app is active and the Quest Link environment is running. Make sure both Touch Controllers are paired and have sufficient battery. 2. Launching the Experience (Updated for Standalone Build) Run the Executable: Locate the project build folder on the desktop and double-click the BOWLINE.exe file. Initialization: The game will automatically boot in full-screen mode and establish a direct connection with the Meta Quest 3 headset via Quest Link. Start: Put on the headset. The application will immediately load into the game. 3. Controls & Gameplay: Movement: Use the Left Thumbstick to walk continuously through the terrain. Movement is head-oriented (you move in the direction you look). Turning: Use the Right Thumbstick for snap-turning to comfortably reorient your view. Archery Mechanics: Reach for the bow with your dominant hand, hold the grip button, and use your other hand to draw the string back from the quiver. Release the trigger to fire at the targets. Resetting: Locate the interactive Reset Button prefab within the scene to clear your score and refresh the targets for the next player.
