In an era where the internet is the center of it all, where distances are being shortened by virtual communication and talks over cups of coffee are replaced by chat rooms and social networks; what happens to humanity? When reality becomes a second life and your face an open book. When privacy is no longer private and you digitalize your identity; what about real life? Webciety -a stop motion film- points at an issue unnoticed by many but that is slowly raising question amongst the conscious minds. Millions have now access to the web, a mysterious entity. Where does all the information we feed it goes? Who controls it? How much can this organism grow? What are the consequences? Can we avoid being sucked in by the Web 2.0? What next?
