| English Abstract: | This course covers the fundamentals and tools of strategic management for digital and platform-based companies. Students are introduced to methods of market and resource analysis, with a specific focus on platform-based ecosystems, network effects, and data-driven consumer insights. Additionally, concepts of strategic consumer management - such as personalization, lock-in, and customer value strategies - are taught. Students are enabled to evaluate corporate situations using established tools and derive strategic recommendations for digital and platform-based companies. Case studies and current examples are used to transfer the theoretical concepts into business practice. The main goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the principles and requirements of long-term, customer-centric business management and to equip them with the expertise needed for practical application and specific follow-up courses. |
