Starting point of the course is a business idea for an online shop or an advertising agency. This could be a one-to-one marketing campaign, a personalized shopping concept, a versioned folding box, or possibly another idea. Students will experience the entire workflow starting from the concept and design to programming of the VDP software, printing, embellishment and finishing. The course focuses on a professional workflow rather than the content of the printed product, which can be exemplary. Students learn to plan a complex VDP product that can be produced in a large run at a competitive prize. This requires finding the right balance between impressive effects for the costumer and efficient manufacturing. <\p>

During the first five weeks, an introduction to the Efi DirectSmile VDP software, folding box design, and embellishment with metal foils is provided. Prints are made on the Canon V1000. <\p>
