


Test of English as a Foreign Language
The Test Of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL® sets global standards for English-language assessment in academic environments.
The TOEFL ITP®-Test is member of the TOEFL® product line and offers colleges, universities, English-language learning programs and other organizations the opportunity to administer a convenient, affordable and reliable assessment of English-language skills.
It is a paper-based Multiple-Choice Test, setting your level according to the CEFR (no Pass-or-Fail-System)

Duration: 155 minutes

Registration and fees: a fee of 108€ is due to be paid upon registration.

Format:
Listening: 50 Multiple-Choice questions in 35 Min.
Grammar: 40 Multiple-Choice questions in 25 Min.
Reading: 50 Multiple-Choice questions in 55 Min.
Results
The test sheets will be evaluated centrally. Approximately 2 weeks after the test, each participant receives:
- Official Score Report with scaled score
- Individual analysis of strenghts and weaknesses
- Correlation table with CEFR mapping
- Certificate

The TOEFL ITP has no speaking component. If you are applying to a Master's programme, please make sure you don't need the TOEFL iBT instead.
