Research lighthouse
Innovative applications of printing technologies
The "research lighthouse" IAD "Innovative Applications of Printing Technologies" has been active since 2012. The IAD is positioned between the Packaging Technology (VT) and Print Media Technologies (PMT) degree programmes. The IAD is concerned with extending the highly efficient and cost-effective (mass) production methods of printing technologies to areas such as sensor technology, energy storage and electronics, as well as optimising the necessary process steps for innovations in the graphic arts and packaging sectors for almost all printing processes.
