Contact study programme at the HdM
Do you have an interest that you would like to deepen? Would you like to further your professional training? Or are you thinking about a Master's degree programme and don't yet know whether it's right for you? Then a contact study programme is just right for you. In the contact study programme, we offer you the opportunity to take individual modules from our full range of courses. Participation in the modules is open to everyone, regardless of whether you have a university degree or not and regardless of how much professional experience you have. You can take a maximum of 3-4 modules per semester, which can be completed with a certificate of attendance or a university certificate (6 ECTS credits). If you complete the course with a certificate, you have the option of having this recognised if you later embark on a Master's degree course.
Procedure of the contact study programme
Registration
Registration takes place via the university's continuing education centre. You can apply there on the respective module page. After admission, you will receive a letter of admission and fees.
Attendance phase
During the contact study programme, two full-day attendance phases take place at the university. Here you will get to know the other participants and have the opportunity to exchange ideas during joint tasks.
Online phase
During the online phase, you will work through the materials independently or in a team with the other participants. You will have access to our learning platform Moodle. There you will find teaching materials, literature, case studies and tasks. Our experts are always available to answer your questions.
Examination phase
It is up to you whether you take the exam at the end of your selected modules. You can also make this decision during the course of the module.
The seminar documents and the university's digital library are available to you for the examination. At the end, you will receive a confirmation of participation or a certificate by post.
