The application process may take some time. Once the application deadline has passed, shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview. The selection process, including a possible job offer, usually takes around three weeks.
As a part-time employee, you can arrange your working hours individually with your line manager in accordance with the university’s flexible working hours policy.
With a structured onboarding process, we aim to ensure a smooth start at HdM. In addition to guided training provided by your line manager and colleagues and getting to know your team, our onboarding process includes a range of further opportunities. The Welcome Day, an introductory meeting with our Human Resources Development team, and a tour of the university and campus give you the opportunity to meet new colleagues and familiarise yourself with HdM and its culture. Where appropriate, this process may be complemented by an individual work-shadowing programme in selected departments and facilities across the university.
The probationary period usually lasts six months and is governed by the applicable collective agreement (TV-L).
