| Description: | A person’s facial expressions are highly communicative. They can supplement, clarify or even negate the information contained in spoken language. This can occur, for example, through emotional facial expressions or visual language (mouth movements). As part of my PhD research, I am working on automatically animating the facial features of humanoid robots using modern machine learning methods, with the aim of enabling the most natural possible communication between humans and robots. |
